encoding into flash
i just bought flix pro to encode videos from wmv mpeg etc.. into flv (flash video)...it works great BUT there's a catch, it takes nearly 2 hours to encode a 100 mb wmv file into this flv format....is there any way to speed this process up?

Dude I have always just used flash rather than other converters, works great for me.

Depending on your source file it will still be slow. Video compression when it's done right is slow.
We use a cluster of machines to split videos into little bits and compress those bits, putting it all back together at the end. Adobe does make the best codec and since they make the plug in you can bet they have the highest compatibility. http://www.stockimagelab.com/post/yo...ng-cluster.jpg |
i don't think the flash encoder will encode to VP6. so its not the best solution, its just a different solution.
