$500 mainstream logo competition
 

Hi to all my favourite designers, hope you're all well. I need your creative input.

$500 first prize to design a logo for a new mainstream website. The site is aimed at the public in general so pretty much a free hand in this one

"YOU WONT FORGET" <- I see the whole name as against "YWF".

The logo will be used on the site, and on all marketing collateral.

Its am internet to cellphone deal, and, your right in your assumption of what the concept is all about, its really in the name "You Wont Forget"

these contests usually all go the same way. The quality stuff doesn't come out until close to the deadline. Since there isn't one in this case, I'm not sure how this will shake out.

no man, im sure everyone is searching for best idea etc and will be posting designs closer to the deadline, as always in those contests ;) i will try my best for sure too, i hope i will have time for that ;) give it a time, great designs to come for sure! :thumbsup

I agree with TeenCat.
I've been working on some designs, but don't want to just throw something together.
Any other designers out here will be doing the same, and are going to take their time to do the best they can. It's not like it's a $20 competition where no one cares if they do or don't win, lol.

Just be patient :)

I hear you, never quite thought of it like that, LOL a mad post right towards the end makes heaps of sense. Last comps i ran you could see the influences as the designs flew into the thread, norty norty, copying, to a degree.

I did actually think I had the right guy to do the job in the first place, and, one that is very wel known on this board, he just wasted 3 months of my time and fed me "prime" bullshit...... Oh well, life moves on

I like this one although you may want a version with less reflections and stuff for smaller sizes to increase crispness

Those are OK, but for the skills you have IMHO you can do better. This coming from someone who usually likes your logos :)
