Please explain to me how getting 50 PR4 inbound only links won't be better for your rankings than 50 PR1 inbound only links... All sites are context appropriate, of similar ages, similar traffic and you get to pick the anchor text etc.. Or how about 100 links.. or 500.. shouldn't really matter right? I'd really like to see a solid explanation since you all say there's no worth to PR. Explain to me how, given the choice between the 2, you'd go with the PR1 links instead of the PR4 links..

And if you can't.. then STFU about PR being dead/worthless/useless... If you can give a good explanation, then I'll happily STFU...

Just an opinion: the people saying "PR is dead" are likely to have none to worry about.

It's just a conspiracy to fool the newbies, everyone knows PR is good for backlinks ...

You damn liar, they are nearly worthless and though google does move its listings around and moves its pr bar a bit on sites, the toolbar pr is at best a tie breaker and typically just a ploy.

Now who has pr 2-3 links available with less than 4 outbound page links?

Thing is the toolbar pr is updating only every 3 months
so when you go hunting for links using pr as an evaluation tool
you're using obsolete data.

And "pr is useless" or whatever doesn't refers to backlinks or such
but more to the fact that it doesn't play as much as it used to into the
ranking algorithm.

You keep hitting for high PR I'll keep hitting for high SERPS.
Whatever makes you feel good.

Point is.. if it's still used in the ranking algorithm, then it's not useless... that's my point...

PR worthless?LOL!It can be useless if you target major keyword and you have let's say pr6 but it have several advantages including selling pr links :)

:error circular arguement - they can not be worthless cause you can sell a high ranking ones links for pr.

I mean hell my feces is not worthless, it can be useless if I just flush it, though lets say its high quality so it has several advanted including me selling it as fertalizer :winkwink:

Well major advantage also is first position for minor keywords.
If you have blog pr6,then you will probaly always be first for a lot of keywords.Which of course depend on quality of content.
