If you send them a form mail from their site, niftystats.com, they will get it added usually in a few days or so. Good support as well :thumbsup. Adios Ustats.

I still use StatsRemote because of the mainstream programs it lets me track.

It is a nice looking program but it makes connections to their site using secure connections at regular intervals.

Take that for what you will.

They said it was to load banners but why would you need a secure connection to load a banner? Unified Stats loads banners over regular connections.

I doubt there's anything malicious going on there. Besides, that's good to know that they are using https when transmitting your username and password.. and it will do that depending on the time intervals you have set up for to download stats.

I see nothing wrong with secure connection to their servers ... why the hell would they try to steal your passwords? If they do it ... people will report it here in a minutes and they will loose ALL their customers.

True dat... I WISH I had heard about it sooner though.... I used to pay for another one before, and use US as well, but this one is the cats meow when it comes to free stats reporting.

Yeah ... well Unified Stats in unsecured PLAINTEXT URL Variable format...all they need is there server getting hacked, and whoever redirects the traffic gets all the username and passwords. It's a horribly unsecure way to authenticate and another reason why I don't use that software anymore...

You are probably right but it never hurts to be a little cautious when something new comes along - especially with all of the scammers out there.

I have tried this program and I agree it is quite nice. If positive test results continue to come in and it is proven trustworthy over I time I will probably use it.
