Should I feel bad ?
I let my friend freely play poker for a couple days on my bankroll and he won like 1000$.
I went on my poker account this morning and saw that he had transfered the 1000$ on his account... I cancelled the transaction and I don't feel like giving him a penny now. This is a true backstab. What do you think ? Am I right or wrong. Let's say I play poker on Bill Gates' bankroll and I win 1M$. Does the million belong to me ? |
well you'd think you would have had an agreement before hand...if you didn't, you should give him the $1000...and if he gives you any of it great, if not, you'll know for next time.
|
Im with BannerArt on this one, without prior agreement I think there are plenty of people that would just collect their winnings and hopefully pay you back if they had a loss instead.
|
The agreement was that he would not have to pay back losses and that I would eventually give him some money to start himself if he wins money on my account. In my opinion, you can't win at poker if you don't risk money, so why would I owe him this money ?

Split it in half and be done with it

If you were as unclear with him in the beginning, as you were with us in the beginning of this thread....then he should be able to keep the cash. But if you told him he couldn't keep the winnings, than not sure why you even posted here. |
I think you should give him half. Its really iffy and he did win the money. Just give him half and be done with it as spunky said
|
and can you explain...if he has no money and can't play with money himself...and he's not getting anything from playing with your money, why doesn't he just play for free? That part doesn't make much sense to me.

Hmmm ... I think 50% 50% would be fair enough
|
usually it is 50/50 minus what money he used of yours.
