what happens if Icann finds a site with fake whois info?
What is the procedure when a site with completely fake whois information is found out?

Well, I think they can take it from you.

I found an inactive domain that doesn't expire for a year, but there is no website on it at the moment, and the whois information is very fake (eg. 123 Any street, anycity, CA etc. just random gibberish)
I would love to get the domain, and just wondering if it might drop before the expiry date? |
I've found them and reported them. They contact the owner to get him to verify the info. Even when the info is obviously fake. IMO they don't bother unless the site is doing something very illegal.
