Problem with STATS VS Sponsors
I've had a problem with a certain sponsor lately with joins disappearing. What happens usually is - the last day of the sales period, a few of my joins disappear . Then on this particular sponsor's backend you can only go back into the stats history and you can only see the whole periods summary stats for that last period - not the day by day stats. So if 2 of my joins disappear, there isn't a way for me to go back and get the days before detailed stats. When I asked a REP about it, they said it was My responsibility to check my stats daily (which is obviously how I noticed my joins missing) and that there was no way to get the last periods day by day detailed stats.
So last night when i got some sales, which I have been doing for the last week, I took screen captures of them. What's fucked up is that the only one I can now go by is the STATSREMOTE screenshot cause I can't see the last day's sales stats in this sponsors backend. Now keep in mind here - I've never had a problem with Statsremote. But when you look at the day that showed I had sales in statsremote and the day after, the clicks are basically the same, but the joins are missing. At this point I'm frustrated. I've been around a long time and never heard of such a thing. Am I being paproind, or does this all sound fucked up? |
I don't know what's the problem in this case but there are a few things to consider when comparing the online stats to the stats displayed in StatsRemote.
If a sponsor doesn't provide daily stats, StatsRemote cannot display your correct daily stats either. In such cases we distribute the sales equally over the entire pay period or month and therefore the sales displayed in StatsRemote are moving over the course of the pay period or month. Two examples: 1.) A sponsor displays only monthly stats and you have 12 sales so far this month. In this case StatsRemote would show one sale every other day (today is the 24th). Now let's say you stop promoting this sponsor and still have 12 sales in the end of this month. StatsRemote would then distribute the 12 sales over the entire month and they would be displayed on different days. 2.) A sponsor displays only monthly stats and you have 100 sales so far this month. In this case StatsRemote would show 4 sales for most days and 5 sales for a few days this month (today is the 24th). Now let's say you stop promoting this sponsor and still have 100 sales in the end of this month. StatsRemote would then distribute the 100 sales over the entire month and display 3 sales for most days and 4 sales for a few days. |
I am not sure why you have not dropped that sponsor like a hot potatoe!
see sig for a sponsor with great stats and your sales won't dissapear :1orglaugh |

I also forgot to mention that they wouldn't even ofer to show me a screen capture of the stats to help ease my mind.
