Peter had his eye removed yesterday for Glaucoma.

No need to be sad, Peter was blind from the glaucoma and it caused him pain, he is sitting on my lap purring right now.

He was a shelter cat and he couln't be happier with the life we gave him.

He's totally cool, just wants to go out but he's grounded for 30 days. Vets orders.

All my pets throughout my life have been rescued/adopted ... way to many cats and dogs "disposed of" in the world.

Good stuff, man!

For that money, the vet could of done nicer stitching.

Then a person shouldn't have pets if you can't support them, right? Just like kids...

That happened to one of my kitties..but my vet bill was much less than yours. Hope Peter is doing good.

You live in paradise for a trooper like Peter, after what I saw I'm sure he's extremely happy to be there.

True. I had one and one evening five years ago, after being out all day (which he regularly does) never came back... Wondering what could have happend to him still bothers me to this day.

My kitty is goin on 19, has no voice left and also one of his eyes has gone kinda wonky (nothing dangerous though as per the vet)
