My motor home is still in the shop and may not get it back until tomorrow or the next day. They just checked it out today and have to order some parts. The bill is going to top $1400.00. I think mechanics are worse crooks than many adult webmasters are. I don't know shit about the mechanical ins and outs of vehicles, so when someone tells me your "walapagel" needs replacing I just meekly say ok replace it.

if you're not mechanically inclined, don't try to make them think you are, you'll wind up looking like a jackass, and they'll spot it in a second.

a lot of mechanics ARE crooks. I'd say statistically moreso than adult webmasters. next time they tell you they need to replace a part, just tell them you want to take it somewhere else and get a second opinion. If they tell you you shouldn't, for ANY reason, it should throw up a HUGE red flag.

Try what we did

After getting screwed by one mechanic (to top it off I am female urgh)
I told them that I do Adult Sites and got a little aquainted with them (Gee, how are the kids, blah blah)

My mechanic now has a life time pass for all my sites and they are very cool about it. He told me on my old car what exactly was wrong how I could get around fixing it for only about 10 bucks instead of 1000..

Or look around, one of your buddies is about to know a buddy who works with cars. But than of course we live in the country, everybody works on their own car or quad around here.

Just got the motor home out of the shop. $1489.00. Something to do with the manifold. The bill reads like greek to me, so I just pay it. The engine sounds good. As long as it takes me from point a to b trouble free I am happy. I should be leaving sometime Sunday and will be gone for a couple of days.

I didn't have to be away for a couple of days. I called the person I needed to meet with and told him I just am not up to a long drive because of my back so he flew into Sacramento. I drove there and met with him. Back home now. I have an offer for my business. I am considering it.
