Hosting Companies Response Times
I'm curious to know, whats the typical response time you get from opening a ticket to the item getting resolved with your hosting company? I'd love to see which hosts out there are the fastest. I'd love to see a list of who you host with and their avg response time.

Reflected networks has the fastest in my experience, usually within 10 minutes of opening a ticket

I use Got Web Host and they rock at costomer response. I hit up baddog right away and my problem gets fixed right away. Really no waiting time at all. Super nice!
|
if ever i have a problem, i call webair and they solve my problem on the spot
|
webair's support is decent - the livehelp guys sometimes just seem to wander off and leave me hanging without me knowing what they are doing or if they have forgotten i'm there.
|
webair's support is OK but servage's is the shit...1-3 hr turn around time....sometimes even faster........such a shame they don't have any other hosting package other than virtual (-_-)
|
my average turn around time, with any host is roughly 5mins with webair on the phone or on live support (for reboots anyways if i fucked something up)
maybe an hour if my boy doug is out to eat over at www.ironpathnetworks.com, & he has to drive to the datacenter to put in a new hd for me personally (an hour is worth it for that kind of dedication) |

Not that I have had that many problems with GotWebHost but when I have all I do is hit up Baddog and all is sweet again. |

Anyway to answer the question: Isprime-->around 10 minutes. Even for adding HDD's/ram etc, since they are IN the DC... |
i'm using webair and used to think their support was great until recently :(
i hope they improve soon. |

Now often I will put in a ticket with a low or medium priority and that ussually has a response and fix within 10-15 minutes. Though a high or criticle ticket and I get responses often within 1 to 5 minutes. Or at very least you will see the progress switched from open to assigned (someones working on it) that quickly. Since not all problems can be fixed in a few minutes. At same time when I want to set up a new ftp, get a unique ip, and add a new domain. I slap a low priority on it and could care less if it takes them until next day yet it never does. Hell often they will have a third party script installed, assuming I gave them all needed info in ticket, at a medium urgency within an hour or less. |

If he is asleep he wakes up. He will bitch a little but he will still get it done. As for being away... we were in Sturgis at the bike rally 2 summers ago and he had the laptop and the wi-fi and was never really "away". |
Baddog from GotWebHost is usually on ICQ as long as he isn't traveling I can usually reach him within a few minutes.

I have been using TechieMedia since they opened! WG hit me up if you have questions about them they are fast and reliable |
Phatservers usually answers my emails in a few minutes, at least to tell me they are working on the problem. After that it's constant communication... they're pretty much the best host I've ever dealt with support-wise.

I would have to say GotWebHost is the best experience I have ever had with customer service.

Phatservers varies from 30 seconds to first response up to a max of about 5 minutes, and they usually resolve whatever it is within a few minutes. Incredible, and has been consistent about it for many years now.
