Tab top are the easiest to hang and launder. Jc Penny is a good store to start with, they are always well stocked and do quick special orders.

Measure your windows from both the inside and outside frame and grab youself a sales clerk. Go on a Tuesday .. when they are all bored half to death. If you really can't decide, check your local yellow pages, decorators aren't that expesive, when you are looking for window treatments.

does penny's sell black out curtains?
I find them a must. I love ability to close curtains and door middle of day and have room be pitch black.

hope this helps..
"Maximum light absorption and heat insulation in a curtain is created through a lined curtain, which typically consists of an uncoated fabric at the front to provide the look and feel of the curtain, with a separate coated fabric attached at the rear to provide the insulative qualities. The coated fabric is typically referred to as a lining, which simply refers to a coated fabric that does not have any particular colour or pattern"
