Can you capture the audio from a YouTube video and save it as mp3?
I tried vixy.net but its always busy and doesnt work that good for me anymore.
Anyone know how to take the audio part of a youtube video and save it as .mp3 format so you can play it in your car? |
anyone?
Im still trying to find a way to do this. |
Get a firefox plugin to download the .flv file, then load that into your video editing software and save the audio stream.

Damn... Either buy the CD or download it from limewire!
|
whats the url to the youtube?
|
http://audacity.sourceforge.net/
It's free and will record any sound your pc makes so if you get an email while recording a vids audio, you'll hear your email notification on the track so turn off all your extra stuff. I have my sirius radio plugged into my pc and use this to record stuff all the time. |
well I can put some thing on my server that can do the work... fast and simple script :)
maybe later on will get some thing like that. |

I had to do the exact same thing yesterday.
First I downloaded the .flv from youtube, by filling out the youtube url at: http://keepvid.com/ Then I downloaded this little free program to extract an mp3 audio file of the .flv video: http://www.moitah.net/#FLVExtract |
