I quit drinking..

At least for a while..

Have this weird feeling from saturday after my till 7 AM Berlin party, heart beating fast, can't breathe well... Don't know if it's 9 years of the wild life, that I don't sleep too much and not living the human life or that I haven't had a time off for the past 4 years..

I still can think, speak, type, drive or even walk, but I can't do anything too physical and sometimes I move like Ozzy without the medicine..

Will be posting a couple of photos from my last pre - retirement good times soon.. :pimp

GAMEFINEST 10-22-2007 01:30 PM

hope it works ...good luck

MaDalton 10-22-2007 01:32 PM

and now mail me the pics of me and the girl :pimp

TubeTitans_SusieQ 10-22-2007 01:35 PM

I quit this past saturday...i almost got a dui on thursday so I realized maybe I should slow down, I'm quitting altogether for a month, want to make sure I can slow down atleast. Was a occasional drinker, but sometimes even that gets me in trouble.

Aquarius 10-22-2007 01:36 PM

Tell me about it, last weekend me and some friends partied pretty hard, from 6 PM to 10 AM. It was a wild night in every sense. Quit drinking sounds a good plan for me as well.

Violetta 10-22-2007 01:37 PM

Good luck... Try to get some help.

Well no need to panic drinking is still the most social thing I know and I have been mastering the craftmanship of drinking hard for years and it brought me many unforgettable memories, but sometimes, your guts just have enough.. the body is just a machine

[ScreaM] 10-22-2007 01:50 PM

That's a great move, congrats.

I've quit drinking and it's been more than 15 months. YAY!

thonglife 10-22-2007 02:05 PM

Keep at it because it will save your life! I never was going to quit until one day I found it difficult to walk without pain. I was diagnosed with Pulmonary Vascular Disease at age 34. WTF?? They concluded that years of abusing my body brought it on at an accelerated rate. I had to then quit my daily pleasures of smoking cigarettes, drinking alcohol and smoking ice (Meth had collapsed my large veins in leg) To top that off, I had to cut all the fats out of my diet as well.. all cold turkey.

Come Nov. 1, it will be 5 months completely sober.. wish I had a cigarette because I miss that shit the most. Sobriety sucks.. but being dead sucks even more.

Well that sucks, get well!

Well not everyone of us can be like Keith Richards,

Concerning cigarettes, interesting I never developed a habit, even I smoke a lot on the shows or when I am out and I want to, I never do at home and I don't even have to think about it for days or weeks.

Staying away from dope, never did anything heavier than weed and that was not more than five times in my life.

CarlosTheGaucho 10-23-2007 02:27 AM

So what's the longest time you drank tea since you were 18 or so?

Staying Sober Lands Man In Prison

STOCKHOLM, Sweden -- A man wanting to stay sober volunteered to serve part of his friend's one-month drunk-driving sentence. The 51-year-old Swede wanted to see if he could pose as his friend and fool the justice system, but he was discovered two weeks into the sentence. The man said, "I wanted to go to jail to stop myself from drinking for a few weeks. My pal didn't think it would work. He agreed to let me try. I borrowed his ID card and identified myself as him at the prison." He has since been charged with perjury and wrongful use of another person's identity.

Shit, Carlos, you're gonna be ok in a few days, you're young. And why you blaming the drinking, when the speedballs could be just as much of an issue?

flowereater 10-23-2007 07:38 AM

good luck with that )

CaptainHowdy 10-23-2007 07:46 AM

Angie77 10-23-2007 10:40 AM

Maybe it's an anxiety attack? How long have you been drinking?

Anyway, good luck man.

JamesXR 10-23-2007 10:48 AM

That's terrible Carlos, I have a hard time not drinking heavily when I drink, but I always switch to water when I feel sufficiently sloshed. At Gayvn this weekend I'll be doing my drinking early and sobering up four hours before my drive from LA to Orange County every night.
I avoided cigarettes due to the possibility of dependency, but I still got caught up in coffee. I'd swear that American productivity runs on free coffee at every office. It's like liquid capitalism. I'll do three or four cups every morning. Our warehouse manager claims to do a pot and half a day. That gets you on edge after a while.
Get better Carlos, and see a doctor, it would suck if you blamed the drinking when you had something else that needed to be attended to. You could die sober of something unrelated.

Thanks! well I probably will, use to play it tough but it's not a good feeling not to be physically able to copulate any more :) I could not stand more than a blow job these days..

I made it ten years, and had the same shit.

But I also had gotten to the point where my body could not longer metabolize alcohol. I would have to go to the E.R. and be converted. It was scary the first couple of times, but then was old hat by the 10, 11, 12..

2012 10-24-2007 03:24 PM

CarlosTheGaucho 10-25-2007 01:30 PM

Well the worst part about my visit at the doctor's was not that I can't move that much for a while but I was also handed a DIET INSTRUCTIONS - wtf I used to be working out 5 - 6 times a week / eat china five times a day and weigh 190 pounds in muscle but ...

... after three years of the wild adult biz life it's time to officially admit that the Adonis days are over! :)
