Question for those in the Philippines...

Strange question... how much does an air conditioner cost? Like the window kind?

Price in pesos or dollars is fine... thanks.

i bought my 1.5hp carrier for 10K pesos or $240

I was just told that electricity is really expensive in the Philippines... can somebody give me a ballpark figure? This would include somebody running their PC and air conditioner most of the time.

If you guys could just tell me what you are paying, that would be extremely helpful.

here's my bill for the past month

total kWh: 268
total current amount: 2,777.55 pesos ($65)

2 pc and 1 aircon and some appliances and bulbs

hmm seems your guy are asking for salary increase? get him some bucks, dollars are suck here now, its 44 pesos per $1.
56 pesos before per $1.

Actually I'm already paying in pesos. I'm asking because I want to get him air conditioning and am trying to find out what it's going to cost... you have been very helpful. Thank you.

Wow... we were just kidding when we accused you of running a "sweat shop".

np... paying in pesos is great!

if his aircon start running for 10-20 hrs a day, expect a 1k - 1.5k pesos ($15) increase in his current electric bill
