We hit Screamfest in O-town this weekend.

My baby got this awesome tattoo of Dr. Paul Bearer (a horror show host we grew up with here in Tampa Bay) by Chris Blinston from Big Brain 2 of Pompano Beach (Ft. Lauderdale area). He was splitting a booth with Mark Longnecker from Endless Summer Tattoo out in Cocoa Beach.

He sat for about 4 hours. It's incredible. I know some of you guys are into this shit (saw a few GFYers there) so I thought I'd share.

Chris Blinston does some amazing portraits. It's definatly a niche in the industry, and it's hard to find someone who's truly good at it. It's so easy to jack up a face, especially when people get portraits of children and loved ones- can't stress how important it is to look at someone's portfolio. :2 cents::thumbsup

Have fun in Tampa, you guys should hit up the Howl O' Scream @ Busch Gardens. It's pretty cool, some of my friends did the costume design and decor this year.

Did you guys do anything cool at the convention? The VIP party was pretty cool / laid back, everyone was up David Arquette's ass though. The guy seems pretty decent, just couldn't understand how crazy people were for him.

Definitely, we already have tickets, we are going on Thursday.

Not really... We didn't go to the VIP party, just hung around at the pool bar a lot and watched a lot of the independant movie screenings. It was more something new and interesting to do, I'm not enough of a fan to trip over actors or spend ridiculous amounts of money on paraphenelia.

Did you see 100 Tears? Was it any good?

That tat looks really cool. My best friend and I have been talking about hitting some horror conventions next year...I LOVE horror movies. Watching MonsterFest right now...
