Fris, I checked out this app, but as far as I could tell, it is NOT able to encode from pre-existing files on your hard drive. Rather it is designed to only capture live (or I suppose pre-recorded) streams from a camera input. Is that how you use it?

If you have a linux box around or a linux server.... ffmpeg will do it quite easily.
