I find this Industry marketing to be refreshing.
 

It is always refreshing when you see a program take the time to think through a real marketing plan. Obviously, this industry is plagued by repetition and imitation. I don?t find this necessarily unusual or isolated to adult; however, it is tough to deny that it is rampant.

Kristin from YappoDollars contacted me a few weeks ago and offered to go ahead and skin one of our paysites with her VOD system. We were busy at the time and I didn?t get around to looking into her request. However, she waited a week and contacted me again and I gave her what she needed, which turned out to be simple user / pass to one of our paysites.

Within 24 hours, she sends me our VOD store.

This is a really clean looking page. It utilizes our new Fuck Her Right design, which flows seamlessly throughout the page.

Aside from Yappo being a great product, this was really great marketing for them. If you tend to imitate marketing ideas, I would probably start with this one. Essentially, they created a product for us to use without us (Weg) doing anything at all. And aside from that, it looks outstanding.

Marketing really doesn?t have to be complicated to be effective. Sometimes being professional, prepared and organization is all you need. I encourage you to give their White Label a try if you haven't already. It takes no time and they do an outstanding job.

dude i was blown away by her today, i just joined and used a basic header and a simple logo white background and solid black text saying "Video on Demand" and 2 days later she emails me saying she took the liberty to change it up a bit, and this is what she did

The customized VOD is solid. IMO, simple navigation with clean images is aesthetically pleasing. More importantly, for your needs, the perception of the surfer not leaving the original members' ares certainly improves the overall experience of the member and increases sales for a minor customization.

Up sells can be 'tricky' for the members' area that is promoting a VOD. The potential to lose a paid member to any upsell (in your own members area) is a true balancing act. Seeing that membership retention is important to the paysite business model, we are very selective in upsells. In turn, strong marketing campaign diminishes the risk we take into consideration for making these arrangments work.

But do you expect anything less from Topbucks/Yappo? They are a solid team! Congratulations to both Yappo and WEG.

Is that weg content or topbuck content or something else all together?
Is this just something you would upsell from your members area or do they take your content and push it out across all the other white labels and the main VOD site?

I invented site skins for cross promotions, and online stores.

Our goal in creating the whitelabel system was to make it easy to customize without creating something too generic or destroying the clean layout and easy functionality that is Yappo.com. Kristin was a driving force behind that and making sure it did what webmasters needed it to do.

She is one of the brightest marketing minds in the industry and we are very lucky to have her on the team.

Sorry, I didn't get to answer your question last night, I was too tired and I wanted to give it full attention.

This is not WEG or TB content, we get content from hundreds of different studios and put their content on our site through a pay per minute billing model. We have over 750 studios and 32,000 movies. We update daily and are always getting new studios. We also encourage affiliate programs with exclusive content to add it to VOD.

The header though, that's WEG pictures from their members area, but I'm pretty sure you aren't referring to that. ; )

You can upsell this from your members area, utilize it on free sites, we have custom theaters, YappoFeeds, whitelabels for anyone. And we have been seeing great results with webmasters implementing a corner roll over.

Kristin is pretty smart.

One thing that disappoints me about this industy is people are who are unable to follow through on their promises. I have a list of notes twenty-eight pages long of people who have failed to follow up on stuff. Kristin, however, is quick to respond to my needs.
