Hack for GOOGLE ANALYTICS: how to get the full referring url
http://www.reubenyau.com/google-anal...referring-url/
You can use either the A) user defined report OR b) you can hack the analytics code. Enjoy! |
I tried Google Analytics for a month and couldnt get it to work.
It worked for 3 days, then would stop working for a few days, then back to working again. I didnt change code or anything. |
damn, that's cool. Now if only they'd make a hack where you could not only see the full url but you could click on it and view the actual page that referred the click. Then analytics would be perfect IMHO.

Interesting, might have to try this out
|
Yeah, not being able to click the referring link and visit the site sucks. Having to copy and paste is pretty annoying.
|
Duh. Just noticed for the first time that if you click the referring url it takes you to a page with a link that says "Visit this referring link". Doh!
|
my biggest issue with google analytics is that I can't export more than 500 lines of data at a time. One of the few sites I use google analytics on have something like 10k different search terms it has been found through - and I want to analyze them, but I can't be bothered exporting more than 20 times to do it..
