The cigar inside the case a bit cheezy?

Classic movie.

if he smoked the cigar in the movie, no.

if he didn't, yes

The whole thing looks cheesy. The fonts used in the gold plate aren't appropriate. The frame looks nice though.

Is this on ebay or something?

I remember seeing the exact same plaque at the movie memorabilia store in the Forum Shops at Ceasars Palace, and it looks extremely cheesy up close. They also had several variations of the same for The Sopranos...

It's photo, a frame, a plaque and a cigar.

It's not really memorabilia unless that's the cigar Pacino was sucking on in that scene.

Or he signed it.

That would maybe up the price a little bit, but autographs aren't really worth anything unless the person is dead.

I spent a few years buying this type of shit for the Hard Rock Cafe. This is the kind of shit people would try to pawn off as memorabilia and it's just crap marketed to fans who don't know any better.

You used to be able to make a killing off autographed stuff on eBay, but it seems like people have either wised up to it or got scammed by a fake one and no longer buy...

Were you expecting lichtenstein?

It's cheesy memorabilia from a cheesy (but enjoyable) movie. I really don't get why this industry seems to try to align themselves as Goodfellas.

(The joke here is that he made himself a name by copying comic books to sell to the upper class unwashed masses.)

could use a better picture...

After Shock Media 10-18-2007 01:44 PM

Damn at least the limited edition star trek picture plaques I used to pawn off in my hobby store were signed and numbered.

Oh and the original cast had been getting old so alas some would and did die.
