It isn't the search that is slowing GFY down

That sounds like a friend that owned Ocean Drive magazine in Miami. His screen was 56" and he sat about 6 feet from it, |
That message could be a result of the search. The search ties up the DB and the queries from the main page time out - the browser reports it as an unresponsive script.
*edit* nice domain, hehe |
How about if you switch to the ugly blue skin?
|
GFY is probably the easiest site on the internet to DoS... just have a bot do a search every 5 minutes. :1orglaugh:1orglaugh
|
yup. something is fucking wrong again and big time. its taking more than 2 minutes for gfy to load each page.
peace out. this is intolerable again. i normally like to keep one of my computers on gfy while i work and run processes on the other 2. at this point the processes are finishing faster than a page can load. defeats my purpose for keeping one machine on gfy to use my time to the most benefit. i am sad. i'm switching this machine back to image processing till its fixed. :2 cents: |
I am now back to opening up a page in a new window, so that way I don't lag out going back and forth...it does cut down some time.
|
Isnt that an old fucking screen shot, hell I remember some of those threads from two months ago.

Anyway, I dont get any of those warnings. No script bugs for me. Im running Opera though |
Actually, that's a javascript error... javascript runs is client side, not server side... meaning that your browser is giving up on it to save your own resources.
Yes it's annoying, but that script will only slow down our machines, not GFY's servers. |

loading fine for me

You do know that that alert is for the retarded Web2.0 javascript functions, and has nothing directly to do with the forum other than make the pretty little 'posting' pictures and ajax edit shit, right?
