Anyone from Fiercehost out there? I sent an email yesterday for some relatively urgent support, still not reply. Get me in ICQ, or email me webmaster(at)gothicamateur(dot)com.

Didn't they steal everyone's domains and redirect them to their sponsor, or was it some other host?

I've been trying to reach them for a month.
I've got a domain on them , it's functioning O.K. but I can't reach anyone on their staff.
They registered the domain for me , so I'm wondering ,how the fuck I can change the dns pointers if I have to switch to another host.

Gothweb if you're hosting with them i recommend you get the hell out

mijoon, get the domain transferred to your own registrar, it should only take a week.

I had the same problem with a former host, they where so gracious in registrating a domain for me, but when I cancelled with them, and asked to have the dns changed, they gave me the run around.

They switched customers pages to their own sponsor pages. (Ask Dildozer).

They never replied to emails, ICQ, AIM, etc. I left them. Anthony said they were closing down for good which is why I left (and had unused bandwidth - wanted a refund but they never got back to emails.)

I have Anthony's cell phone somewhere but kind of weary on giving that out.

Definately leave these guys if you don't have alot of pre paid bandwidth.

I had nothing but problems when I was a customer of theirs.

He was running a good service for sometime, but then he just dissapeared. I suggest you contact rackshack if your in urgent need of some help, i believe they house the servers.

Same here. I thought their support was phenomenal cuz the replies always came in 5 mins later whenever i had a problem. Then their VISA bill came in.

I wish I could get some sort of confirmation from someone at FierceHost about some of this, but I guess that's not likely.

Looks like I will be moving some of the domains I was trying out there back to my main host, SinHost. I guess it was a little obvious I'd end up back there, but I wanted to try out some cheap hosting.

On another note, I am looking for a more reliable host with low rates (comparable to FierceHost) that offers Ensim or a similar control panel with multiple login/FTP. Can anyone recommend someone cheap?

How the fuck can I get my domain off them ????

In order to change registrars , I have to give the E-mail addy of the admin contact . Since these guys do not respond to E-mail , the attempt to change registrars will time out after 7 days .

In effect they are holding my domain name hostage .

Must I just abandon the domain ???

What happens if I do abandon it and they put shit up using a domain of which I am listed as owner.

I have 2 domains on Godhost, so far they seem okay . They have Ensim .

I hope you didn't let fiercehost register your domain names .

LESSON: Always do your own Domain registrartion .
