Idea to make GFY more business oriented [ idea ]
 

make a small prize for the best business thread of the day (or week?) as it was the case a few years ago

prizes could be sponsored by a sponsor, so that it doesn't cost Playboy anything

this will encourage some people to fight for the daily prize, so overall much more business threads will be started

I think there are plenty of business-related threads; what you really want to do is lower the bullshit:business ratio.

It might need a little tweaking...

That's a great idea, it will create an informative archive that we can refer to by simply searching ............. never mind.

Or your could always charge like some of the mainstream sites do.

That would eliminate a lot of it.

I won one of those "best thread of the week" thing and never got my prize.

We need new boards for "Would you hit it" threads... and the mods have to be more aggressive about moving "for sale" threads to their right places.

Hell I hit a thousand post way back when and never got my GFY shirt.

I think we should be able to block certain people from posting in our threads.
I lot of business threads get hi-jacked with some off-the-wall BS until it's no longer a biz thread.

I'd happilly pay a fee to be able to accsess a more biz related area... But I do kinda like the bullshit as well...
At the moment, GFY is like a place where you can come and play and let of steam after working...
Nothing wrong really, but I would happilly pay a fee of $15 a month, or $120 a year for a seperate biz section...
