SEO question - Do you add meta tags to your blogs?
Probably a stupid question. But I see there are some plugins for this for wordpress.
Should I be putting meta tags in? I know you can just manually add one to the header, but wouldn't it be better to use a plugin where you can add them to posts as well? Waste of time? |
Yes I believe there is one. But you need to put them in the header.php as well.
Actually more than anything they need to be there. Not All SE's use them, but google, yahoo, and msn are not the only SE's out there. |
We include them for every post.

i try to add them for each blog. but if there is a plugin - that would be great :thumbsup

You could always go into your index.html code and to insert your meta tags in your <head></head> tag manually... or you can get a script to do so...

yep, I use them. head meta plugin for wordpress does the trick :)

I manually add them in header.php file. The most important one for Google is the meta description tag..
