how do people consider shit like this to be art

sexykat 10-17-2007 03:44 AM

Its not just painting a realistic picture but the way a artist conveys his idea and how creative a painting is made to be

Matt 26z 10-17-2007 03:45 AM

Well post what you think is art then.

StuartD 10-17-2007 05:11 AM

I bet you also think that it's not really a poem if it doesn't rhyme.

weaselbrains 10-17-2007 05:29 AM

you're kidding right?

wyldworx 10-17-2007 06:51 AM

my sig!!!

ShellyCrash 10-17-2007 06:54 AM

I guess beauty is in the eye of the beholder. Alot of people really dig Munch. Art isn't always about realism, sometimes it's about portraying an emotion / conveying a feeling / thought / idea

dolorem 10-17-2007 06:58 AM

I like this art

nico-t 10-17-2007 07:15 AM

art is hot air.

TeenCat 10-17-2007 07:23 AM

put that painting in your living room and watch it if you will have nothing to do. then check what it will do with you :thumbsup thats what art is here for ... ;)

pornask 10-17-2007 07:26 AM

sucks to be you, dude...

FredIsMe 10-17-2007 07:31 AM

Do you know anything about art Retributi0n?

bronco67 10-17-2007 07:38 AM

Just because you don't like it doesn't mean it's not art. A lot of people think Road House with Patrick Swayze is crap, but to me its art.

Octopus 10-17-2007 07:39 AM

It's a joke?

carol.prime 10-17-2007 08:28 AM

yeah. that was an art! because a true art hides it's real meaning. imagine, that those mixed colors can do such things like two persons expressing their emotions. imho!

gornyhuy 10-17-2007 08:48 AM

Is this trolling or just fucking lameshit?

BoyAlley 10-17-2007 08:49 AM

Uhm. I was expecting to see a picture of some obscure installation piece or something.

But Edvard Munch?

He's one of the most famous and respected painters in history.

If you can't appreciate work by a master like him, there's very little hope for you.

Go out and get yourself cultured or something.

Mister E 10-17-2007 09:15 AM

I was half expecting the same thing...I'm not a huge fan of 99.9% of modern art..and I expected to see some guy's homeowork titled..."study in pencil."

Bird 10-17-2007 09:27 AM

Art is a guy with no arms and legs that hangs on the wall.

I was watching a documentary about this around 7 years ago, now most of the "masters" have studios where they teach a bunch of students how to paint in their style and that's how they mass produce these things now.

L-Pink 10-17-2007 09:30 AM

It's refreshing that you don't like it.

Angie77 10-17-2007 09:33 AM

I love Munch. What may be art to you may look like crap to me.

Brother Bilo 10-17-2007 09:34 AM

I'm not a huge fan of art either. Most of seems like random colors thrown onto a canvas and then sold for thousands of dollars because of some kind of bullshit story behind why it was painted. Most "artists" I've met were pretentious pieces of shit that looked down on everyone but the people in there fold.

They can have it.

tranza 10-17-2007 09:42 AM

You've got to be fucking kidding, right??

Quagmire 10-17-2007 12:05 PM

Art is what guys do to get laid. Nothing more.

That painting describes exactly how I feel after reading GFY for more than two minutes at a time so I think it's very realistic.
