suicide with a cable tie?
 

anyone kow if this is even possile?
just got a phonecall that my nephew/childhood neigbour has commited suicide a few hours ago with a cable tie round his neck...it just simply doesn't seem possible to me.

if its big enough then yep, sorry for your loss.

"Yeah, Hi Dave, It's me. Your nephew decided to end his life this afternoon using a cable tie.... i know, we're all really shocked and....."

"Cable tie?! Bullshit. I dont buy it. Impossible! That wouldn't kill ya! Here, I'll prove it. Let me ask GFY."

Haha. This is how I see the conversation going. Anyone else find dave's reaction pretty bizarre? Of course it's possible.

sure its possible, blood restriction to the brain for long enough would do it, but there is always the risk of remaining in a vegetative state

apperently he had a fight with his gf about 2000 euro she took from his savingsaccount without him knowing and borrowing it to her parents. This happened last night after he came home from work at around 4.30 in the night. they argued and she left for a walk with their 10month old son to cool the heat and comes back 1.5h later and finds him deadth. Offcourse there will be another side to this story (as it is her version) but we will probably ever know it since he didn't leave a goodbye letter.
