Sell the SUV if it bothers you that much :)

Horny Dude 10-16-2007 09:59 AM

Yeah I have seen them going up slightly around San Diego as well. Guess I need to get out my siphon once again.

Here is a hint for my american friends:

if you are driving an SUV or pickup, and you don't typically tow a trailer or work on a cattle ranch, then you need to get out from under the thing.

The price of gas is directly related to over consumption. The more you and your friends use, the more scarce the commodity and therefore the price increases.

Now I know, it isn't just you, and it isn't just the US. But here in montreal, when I look around, I don't see an SUV as every other car on the road, people don't drive pickup trucks as personal transport much, and generally we all drive smaller, more fuel effecient cars.

If you want to find the source of your problems, look in the mirror, and then look off towards washington.

Next.

Filling up my Tahoe costs me about 120 a week! Driving 45 minutes into the Valley doesn't help much either. Grr.

FredIsMe 10-16-2007 10:09 AM

Walk, take a bus or ride a bike

GAMEFINEST 10-16-2007 10:11 AM

I might have to take a bike ...dammmit

tranza 10-16-2007 10:11 AM

Not only you guys consume more and more gas everyday, but the dollar is falling against pretty much every other currency out there.

Of course the gas prices will have to raise in the US!

Dagwolf 10-16-2007 10:11 AM

They are down (for the moment) in montreal user $1 per litre, but I am sure that won't last, it has done the same a few times.

At some point, the little light will come in in America, and suddenly those SUVs are going to be as popular as George Bush.

kristin 10-16-2007 11:46 AM

Yeah diesel is over $3/gallon now and I'm pissed.

PenisFace 10-16-2007 11:47 AM

1.10/Litre here. Last week it was 1.30 or something. I love my 112hp honda civic :1orglaugh

frostyimpressions 10-16-2007 02:29 PM

I second loving my civic. So fuel efficient and dependable.

GAMEFINEST 10-16-2007 02:46 PM

gecko 10-16-2007 03:18 PM

1.05 per liter here x4 for a gallon = 4.20 per gallon!

Yep. Damn I'm glad I live right near the border. Not that I have a huge SUV, but it is still ridiculous.

FrameShifter 10-16-2007 04:48 PM

The dollar is worth less than the canadian dollar. Energy prices are rising. The US is doomed :Oh crap

Spunky 10-16-2007 04:49 PM

Try riding a bike :)

Vitasoy 10-16-2007 09:11 PM
