google likes css?
true or not?
|
Yes and no. Google doesn't like CSS, but google hates Frames, so using CSS in the only way if you don't want a 1998 style site....but it's not like CSS itself does any good for rankings.

A good clean CSS site is easier for the bots to decode. There are less tags on the pages, less likely for their to be a coding error that confuses the bots, and therefore makes it easier for the bots to find your actual content (text).
That is the theory, anyway. |
no... not really StarkReality... but by keeping your CSS simple and straight forwards like RawAlex had pointed out; is a good thing... Do you know how to create a website without any tables using only CSS/html?

Why would Google not like CSS ? CSS is progressive and I'd hope so is Google.
Use an external CSS file, keep your pages clean. |

At least google parses it.

not only Google likes CSS (well, at least doesn't dislike it) but if you know what you're doing you can use XHTML for better SE positioning by using a few tricks.
Personally, the last time I used the tag <table> in a page must have been like 1 year ago and never had any problem with Google. If anything, things went better. |
hmm gonna make my new milf site css - clean and friendly
