Download servers?
 

Hi,
we are about to add down-loadable content to our network (www.magnusbucks.com) and I was wondering if anyone knew of any hosting companies with download servers or something like that. Basically, we need mass-storage servers that offer high bandwidth at a reasonable price (we don't want to get gouged for bandwidth).

what is mass-storage for you ... in GB ?

that's the thing. we can't predict so we need something scalable

So, you take either:

- a virtual account with a decent bw allocation ( I mean real BW accessible, not utopia bw ... ). We offer a 350 gb dl / month plan ( reseller plan )

If you need more, then you upgrade to a dedicated 1000 gb/month dedicated server ( download servers do not need CPU power, so a low-end would do it ).

and you move up as required...
