Going to visit Amsterdam - got a few questions
 

Have a nice trip... havent been there in 25 years, so I cant remember shit (since Im 27 now lol)

Shopping go at the centre altough outside the centre are the same ammount of stores and a little cheaper..

We play all movies in english with dutch subtitles, but once a while we have a dutch movie playing too, but at the moment i think there's none.. (Anyway the dutch movies are veeery veery stupid lol)

All coffeeshops accept foreigners, but I advice you to try the Greenhouse which has very good stuff, dont go in the first coffeeshop you see next to central station. They probally sell you crap for too big price.. (try to act dutch when buying :P )

Its not allowed to smoke weed by Law here, just like any other country. The difference is that the Police here are tolerating it, so as long as you don't bother nobody you can smoke, but don't go lit one up in the middle of a tram or at the train station or some expensive restaurant.. keep it to yourself or to places where everybody smoke and its all good :)

Anything else?? hmmm Red light district :P lol

beware of the drug guys in the red light district - they will rip you off for sure if they suspect you are a "tourist"... Nice City, nice chicks, nice weeds - humble athmosphere, the netherlands-people seem to be happier (to me).

Anyway...

"Alles is Liefde" is a cute movie that is in cinemas at the moment. It's a bit of a copy of Love Actually so you'll understand it even though it is in Dutch. Just go to City (Leidseplein) or to Tushinsky (Muntplein or Vijzelstraat) and you will see a listing of movies.

Amsterdam kicks ass! :thumbsup If you are going to smoke in public just make sure that you have your ID (best to have your passport) and never around children. Man, I can't wait to go back!
