Searching has been diabled, how to find old posts?

Anyone encountered the same problem? My searching has been diabled. How could I activate my searching tool? How could I find my old posts?

**correction, if you click User CP - you'll see the threads you're subscribed to, or which you posted in & there's a link at the bottom to 'see them all'

green users dont get subscribed to threads where they posted by default
