Is anyone else having trouble with Lelahosting at the moment?

They have been down for 7 hours now, and no support system working as usual.

I need to start designing hosting company templates, seems pretty lucrative considering there are 200,000,000 new hosts opening every day

I'd switch right away. Sounds like a hosting service run from someone's garage.

I have two sites hosted at Lelahosting and only one has been down for most of the day. Of course, it would be the one that I updated yesterday :(

Do you have any contacts at Lela? I've tired calling them on the number in their whois info, but thats disconnected.

I have talked briefly to Timothy Embler on ICQ a few hours ago, but he is not answering me anymore.

No contact yet.

Timothy Embler is a guy who works for them. His ICQ is 2886405. You can try there, but he hasn't answered me for hours now.

I was going to say who are they? Never heard of them myself.

Typically the cheap comes out expensive in this world and hosting is one area where that is often true. Seriously try another host and I mean a known host. However I would not pick one that you know of due to 3000 drama threads about them.

I'm just about to give up now. Dedicated server down for almost 15 hours now and still no response from Lela.

Weakener may I ask why you picked them anyways to trust your business to?

Because they were recommended to me by people on another forum.

Switch over to either techiemedia.net or maybe phatservers (find sly on this board) both will do you right.

never heard of them. just give a try to dreamhost.com , we are running only on them about half year without any problems or limits ;)

Maybe you can give me an idea how I can switch to anyone when I can't reach my site so everything can be moved over?

Lesson 1. Keep local backups. Storage is cheap.

Painful lesson 2. You can not switch really until it goes back up unless you paid attention to lesson 1.

I keep local backups, but it will take days to upload to a new host.

Thats where I started a few years ago. Good luck with that when you start getting some traffic.
