Belkin Wireless USB Network..?
I have a Belkin Wireless USB Network Adapter for a new PC that I'm building, as I'd like to network it - using a wireless USB connection - to my existing PC. I assume I need another Belkin Wireless USB Network Adapter for the other PC? Does anyone have any experience of building a network with these who could give me a clear idea of what I need - I can't find a guide online - or can point me to a page with more information?

I don't know how the balkin adapter works. But you need a wireless access point. And the other computers connect to this access point with wireless cards 803.11b Can the balkin adapter work as an access point or just as a client reciving from an access point ?

Actually, you do not need any Access point at all. Run Both of your cards in Adhoc more and just use the machine which is hooked up to the lan to route packets for the wireless adhoc network. Access points are just gay. |
I think if I connect a Network Adapter into a USB socket on both machines they should communicate with each other. Those will be the only two machines on the network. I just don't want to have to buy another box if I can avoid it. :winkwink: I've seen a starter kit with just two Network Adapters, so I assume it works ok like that.
