AFF can be frustrating

A couple weeks ago I made $665 in a week from 127 uniques (with per order payout) but this week it dried up with no sales all week except tonight, but with a lot more uniques. What I don't understand is one day earlier this week I saw 5 sales pending but it amounted to nothing.

I have been doing this for a few months using article marketing and now I am getting some search hits every day. Do sales normally fluctuate this much?

I joined PRO tonight with one of his programs, so hopefully I can learn more about this as I definitely see potential.

What you see as "Pending Approvals" are not sales, they are free profiles waiting for approval by their team. I am not 100% sure though, but thats what I was told by Sagi.

vick - that's correct

Boogie Nights - go revshare with AFF, you won't regret it

you sure?

I mean revshare was good when they used to pay $30 .. but is it still worth trying when they are paying $95? At avg of 50% i will have to wait 9-10 months to recover $95.

damn! $95? i must have been away for that announcement

I guess this theorem is now falsified by $95 per sale payout. No?

Boogie Nights 10-12-2007 10:14 AM

Yeah they are paying $95 for this month only. Then I guess it goes back to $85 or even $75, who knows. I know the pending sales are not actual sales yet, I was just concerned that I seem to get so many sometimes that never convert to actual sales. I am up to $665 this month but made that in one week late last month.

I will consider doing revshare...

Anyone have advice on getting more traffic?

Had You just started promoting them that week, and got to $665 in a week from start?

Kinda sounds like you might have been picked up and targeted by spyware/whatever, but don't lock into that just yet... have a chat with your rep about it.

Try me on icq I can offer you a pre paid deal.

No I have officially been with AFF for about 7 months but didn't really do anything until about 3-4 months ago. This early morning for example it shows 2 people pending. I have seen that so many times to not get excited. But is that normal? Do so many pendings not process?

And now I am seeing my site in some really good keywords in google and msn, but it fluctuates wildly. For example, a few days ago I was on page 2 for a good keyword on msn but today it is 11. On google it has jumped back and forth between page 5 and 9. Not a whole lot of hits on page 5 to 9 but highly targeted traffic.

Thinking about it though I will keep the pay per order right now because I need the extra cash now, not spread out over months. I drive a fuel tanker and am paid per load but work has been slow lately. These AFF commissions have really helped last couple months...
