Is there actually anything good to see in the cinema at the moment?

I feel in the mood to go see a film but can't actually find anything that sounds like it is worth paying to see.

Anybody have any suggestions of films that are out at the moment?

It is time to come home.

Cinema? We don't have those here, we just have movie theaters.

I saw new movie with Ben Stiller last night. Pretty funny.

And yet many chains have Cinema in their names ...I have been here now half the time I lived in the States. So, I guess I can't totally escape the language.

I've been thinking about seeing 3:10 to Yuma, heard decent things about that one.

Great flick

Even though it's likely left theaters by now, "Shoot 'em Up" was pretty damn good too...

"Michael Clayton" looks interesting but still seems like more of a DVD watch for me...

We in Toronto have a fetish for David Cronnenberg who made Videodrome, The Fly, that genius version of J.G. Ballard's Crash and A History Of Violence!

His latest release is a MUST SEE.

Check out Eastern Promises

It is one of the best films I have seen in years.

Another fantastic film is [URL="http://imdb.com/title/tt0465602/"]Shoot Em Up by Michael Davis. It's like Pulp Fiction on a lot of acid....

30 Days of Night is out next week...looks pretty damn good and an original idea as well...vampires descending on an Alaskan town where it stays night for a month

mistergardener 10-12-2007 11:25 AM

Hmm... I'm not into watching movies lately.

3:10 to Yuma. How can you not like anything with Christian Bale in it?

Rochard 10-12-2007 11:47 AM

I want to see "The Kingdom". I'm hoping to go this weekend.

There is one that looks like it might be good, I think it's called The Darjeeling Express. It seems like something you'd like if you liked The Royal Tenenbaums.
