I have worked with both, doing video production, movie editing, graphics, and so on. The truth is that I see little difference between the two, and often get more hung up on details on the Mac. Certain advantages on a Mac, certain advantages on a PC.

In the end, the Mac always made me feel like I was doing things a certain way because "all the cool kids do it this way". I couldn't justify paying 20-50% more for the same level of computing power that I can assemble for myself from locally available parts.
