Sales from JuicyBucks Disappearing
I really hate doing this. Sometimes this biz just drives me crazy. But I?m finally calling JuicyBucks out.
Over the last few months I have noticed sales disappearing. Here or there it?s been one or 2 every few weeks ? and I had a good relationship with George ? and he always seemed to make me think that it was just a glitch and it would be taken care of, so I always shrugged it off. Maybe it WAS a glitch or maybe it was a chargeback, but I?m finally sick of it. As an example, a few weeks back one sale disappeared, and George couldn?t answer why it vanished. Against my better judgment I kept the links up to JuicyBucks (probably due to laziness on my part, and the hell it would take to change all of my SEO pages) and then yesterday I made 2 sales ? and guess what folks? They were both gone this afternoon. Now I checked both statsremote yesterday AND confirmed it through their backend/admin section. When I saw the sales last night, I thought about taking a screen capture, but I really didn?t think anything shady would happen.
But this is what I?ve come to notice. It always seems to happen on the first day of a new sales period. I think it?s because we can?t go back and get a detailed stats report, all they offer is a sales summary for the prior period. This makes it harder for us to track. This however is just a theory, but it seems to add up to me.
I guess I?ve wanted to say something for a while now, but since George and I were friends I just let it slide. Now that he?s gone, it?s hard as fuck to get anyone over there that knows anything about anything, and since this is the only sponsor I?ve ever had this problem with ? I think its just time to cut this company loose. I?m going to be spending a few hours removing their links from a lot of pages, something that I shouldn?t have to do, but in this biz its better to watch your own back, cause god knows, no one else will.
