Windows' error checking isnt cutting it..

r-studio is pretty good to safeguard your data.

In my experiences when your OS's hard drive repair/fix utilities can't keep a hard drive in good shape then it's time to invest in a new hard drive pronto.

a harddrive can't be fixed.
get a new one.

Time to replace the drive. Clone the data with Norton Ghost (or g4l/g4u/etc), and trash the old one.

yep like I said before, get yourself a copy of ghost that boots off a cd. CLone your bad hd to a new one, plug hard drive into machine, off you go.

in the ghsot settings set it to force clone, and ignore erros
