ICQ 6.0 Anyone Else Hate It?
 

I just had to reinstall/upgrade to 6.0 and I fucking hate it. It's just a bunch of shit now, all flashy and fancy for the kids. What the fuck ever happened to simple? </rant>

worst thing is that any links containing capital letters will go to 404 because all links are opened as non capital letters in ie.

I can't compare. Only started using ICQ less than 2 months ago.:Oh crap

I agree it is too complicated. But it works better that the previous version.

Use qip instead or pidgin if you use more im systems as i do.

I hate it too, uppercase link problems, retarded message history, useless fancy features and some good old stuff gone.. It feels like they made a lite version and just renamed it to full..

Fucking hate it. Always used my beloved 2.1. Been trying it for a few days.

switch to miranda as mentioned above or trillian (trillian.cc), very light and fast clients for handling both msn/icq

Used it for about 5 minutes and went back to 5.1
