More Traffic Leaks (dream-cash)
 

Why do sponsors (not many anymore) need to put traffic counters on there hosted galls??? it's just a traffic leak for there webmasters see URL below....

There is only one clickable link on this gallery and the fucking flashing counter is right below it, now it does open in a new window but come on....

so wheres the counter? dont see it

Was removed and replaced with the 2257 link that has links to the homepage and from there signup page and unless I am missing something your nats code doesn't follow through.... Go figure it's ok to have it there till somebody complains on gfy about it.

I'm suprised I am the only one who has noticed it....

I'm not out to cause shit over a counter, just wanted to know why it's there and know I wonder why it's ok to remove it without an explanation.

If you weren't out to cause shit you wouldn't have made a thread or took a screenshot, you would have just emailed them, so obviously you were. And maybe they didn't know it was there, many programs make galleries for themself and for affiliates and sometimes they get mixed up, so they fixed it, why do you need an explanation?

I had the gallery still up in a seperate window after posting my earlier thread, after seeing the counter gone I took a screenshot to prove it was there.

If I emailed them it could of took weeks to get removed, or maybe would of stayed there who knows.....

It was fixed...

I am an affliate I send sales, why shouldn't I ask why its there??

I didn't see the counter either...

Why doesn't they use their own scripts if the want counter-stats?

You can clearly see it in the screenshot, it was removed I know that for a fact.

I just want to know why it was there and if it was a mistake that it would be removed.

Now it was removed and I haven't got a problem, I would like verification on why it was there but if I don't get it no biggie:)

Yeah, leaks like that are not good on fhgs. I believe that's why they are removing them.

Counterservices can be good but when they're too intrusive they're no good to anyone.

That said, a counter like that is a leak for them too, there's nothing in it for them to have the surfer click that counter. So I reckon it was there for counting purposes, not to deceive anyone. Most likely just an oversight, if you think about it.

Dream Cash is a great program, great sales and recurring ratios. So give them some credit too ;)

I honestly think it was an old gallery, I just wanted to know why it was there and if it would be removed. I know there a good program and I wouldn't for a second suggest it was there to decieve anyone it's good they removd it quickly.

Sorry i didnt get a chance to answer this earlier been out most of the day.

Our FHG's use a series of standard templates, which are chosen by a script.

It looks like the gallery you looked at eariler was an old gallery template. That template has now been fixed.

We did use counters before we installed NATS, but since using it we did not install counters on galleries.
