BofA has finally pissed me off.

They have these new ATM machines which require you to deposit each check individually. If it can't read the amount (ie: CCBill checks), and you don't remember the amount it was made out for, you have to cancel and start over again.

This is enough to piss off the pope. I may have to search for a new bank.

I always take all of mine to the tellers.... my local branch is really retard oriented which I like... they take care of my deposit slips, all the math... It's kinda nice. I can just sit back and act like an idiot sipping my mocha while they handle everything.

GrouchyAdmin 10-09-2007 05:55 PM

Seriously, though, I've taken the deposit slips and checks, and filled them out before sticking them in the ATM for years. They've never bitched at me for it, either.

JP-pornshooter 10-10-2007 09:56 AM

i use bofa.. and just deposit in atm, too long wait at the teller.. and i never even use a deposit slip..no problemo..

LiveDose 10-10-2007 10:01 AM

I hate those new atms. Slow as hell and I have had many computer printed checks straight out rejected without giving the option to type in the amount.

TheDoc 10-10-2007 10:05 AM

Those new ATM's can lick my balls, and the teller lines will just continue to get worse. I have already started looking for a new local bank that do online wires, once I find my match I'm moving away from BoA.

AaronM 10-10-2007 10:07 AM

LOL....I made a deposit at one of their new machines yesterday. There is a big ass blue and white sticker on the side of the machine that says cash deposits will be credited immediately. I deposited cash, it counted the bills, and gave me a receipt showing the bill count and denominations but failed to credit anything to my account.

The receipt it gave me was strange so I checked with online banking and they did not show a pending deposit. I then called the number that was freshly printed on the receipt and they told me I don't even have an ATM card with BofA. Strange considering that I have 3 of them for various accounts.

After about 20 minutes of arguing, I hung up on them.

BofA sucks but then again, so do all of the other banks.

Bank service is at an all time low.
They know we need the service so they don't give a shit.

BofA pissed me off years ago.. all banks suck big time... It's like legalized organized crime

DirtyDanza 10-10-2007 10:42 AM

US BANK easy and good... I switched from wells fargo to b of a then now usbank for last few years...

if I deposit 10 checks I just put them in an envolope and throw em in the atm.. and no matter the amount it's credited right then and there.. no questions asked....

simple quick...

plus I fly nwa mostly so I have all my accounts a debt card that every dollar you spend on it you get 1 mile..... great way to get free flights all year long on money you would spend anyways

Biggest banking fuck up I've ever seen was with US Bank. I've also seen some good ones from Wells Fargo but that was stuff I saw when I worked there....I've never banked with them. I know better.

Brad Mitchell 10-10-2007 11:00 AM

Sounds like a pain in the ass. I don't like BOA just for the simple fact they acquired half the companies that I had Visas and Mastercards with that I used to use years ago. I called them to try and consolidate them all and of course they just can't do that. LOL

Then there's the whole Epassporte and wire transfer issue, that's unsettling... although I can't say I blame them since Epass connects to casinos.

Then you have not seen the new ATM's yet.

D 10-10-2007 03:50 PM

Weren't you giving me a hard time just the other day, asking "Your bank doesn't offer 24/7 support?" and you were a Cal/BoFA user, yourself?

Silly bastard. :-P

That would easily pay for my trips home to see my parents a few times a year and then some. Thats a cool deal. Why are UK banks so tight???

WiredGuy 10-10-2007 03:58 PM

I always use a teller and make sure that they sign my copy of the deposit slip, it shifts liability from the depositer to the bank once you give it to a person there and get their signature.

wow, i'll stick with my banks atm, i just stuff up to 5 checks into 1 envelope, put the amount of each check on the front, total it up, and deposit it, and punch in the total amount on the screen, and wham its credited instantly...

I have never had an issue with deposits not being recorded properly in all the years I have been using ATM's.

ah, poor old man can't keep up with new helpful technology. It's a shame.

DigitalPimp 10-10-2007 05:45 PM

Yeah, wells fargo just upgraded all their ATM in my town to the same check scanning thing. I put about 20 in there and it could not recognize three. Rather than screwing around with it, I took em all in and will be doing all future deposits with a teller. Usually have to go in there anyway as Wells Fargo don't accept canadian checks in ther ATMs.

I thought you kept your money under your mattress... :winkwink:

BTW, you know you work in the porn industry, when anyone mentions an ATM you immediately think they mean Ass-To-Mouth...
