Neat Ways to use NATS

I've been doing alot of NATS consulting lately (and of course use the heck out of it on my own sites) and I'm finding that a few of the finer features of NATS don't always get used by people so I figured I'd post a little tip for getting the most out of your NATS install. Like any great software, there is so much under the hood you can always find some cool new feature/use for it.

1) Avoid the scrub-o-meter! Keep an eye on your DETAILED JOIN REPORT (under ADMIN REPORTS and on the top menu for JUMP TO A REPORT). The items appearing in bold are successful joins while the ones in normal type are people who filled out the join form but didn't get through for whatever reason. If you see an unusual amount amount of non-bold joins compared to other days, your biller might be having a problem or some kind of excessive scrubbing is going on. On days like this you can take your secondary biller and switch it's position to the top biller in your BIILLERS ADMIN. Or perhaps you just want to do it periodically so you keep your member base spread out (all the eggs not in one basket).

2) How effective is your join page? Also under ADMIN REPORTS in the JUMP TO A REPORT is a SURFERS report. This is a great way to see what % of your traffic goes to the join page, what % gets through to the first biller, second biller and so on. It's a great report.

3) Where is your traffic coming from? A neat way to use an old school NATS report is to pull up the old admin stats which you can find at http://www.YOURPROGRAM.com/admin_stats.php once you've already logged in. On this report you can click on the number for your daily uniques and you get this great report showing where all the traffic is coming from.

That's just a few... maybe I'll do a regular article like I do for my paysite tips. Not sure if there'd be enough people interested but I hope these few give you some good mileage.

Happy sales everyone!

Good tips, what is the most frequent bold to nonbold ratio you have encountered?
