New Arylia Affiliate program and more important Arylia Gallery Builder News!
Howdy GFY.... for those who don't know who or what Arylia, go here: Arylia
Otherwise, read on.... I know we've been on the quiet side lately, and some of you may think we had just rolled over and died, but I'm here to assure you that is NOT the case! As you can see from the title, we have been working on some new ways for you all to make money and, as much time as we've saved you over the last couple years, I think we've got some more things going that will make you happy. The biggest announcement is the launch of the Arylia Affiliate program. This program will pay you 25% of sales you refer, and 5% of sales your referrals refer. To sign up, log in to our new users area with your old username and password (located here: http://www.arylia.com/users/index.php?action=showLogin) (it was probably e-mailed to you; if you have lost or forgotten it, send me a PM here or ICQ at 295369830). Under the "Affiliate Info" menu option, check the box at the bottom (after reading the rules, of course) and update. You'll see new menu options where you can view your affiliate balance, set your payment type and balance threshold, and get the linking codes to get credit for your referrals. Currently you have to be an owner of the gallery builder to be in the affiliate program, but PM me or contact me via ICQ and I will accept some others. Obviously, it's hard to sell something when the customer can't buy it right away, so along with this affiliate program we're rolling out instant download with credit card payments with 2CO. Webmasters you refer to our site, as well as you as an existing user, can buy licenses to our script, download it, and install it without any interaction on our part. We are also officially ending our "fair weather deal" where a single domain license cost $125 and multiple licenses were $99 each. So in the short term our prices have increased, but we have dropped our regular prices to $150 for a single domain, decreasing to $100 per domain for 10 domains or more. You can check out the pricing in more detail on our website. This should ultimately work in your favor because I think everyone here has already got all the licenses they need. Our final announcement is with regard to future plans: some of you have probably figured out that, with DrSticky leaving the team, the CMS project is indefinitely suspended. Returning to it at a later time is not out of the question; however, we are focusing our efforts on a core rewrite and upgrade of the gallery builder. We will call this Arylia Gallery Builder 3 and it will be extremely competitive both in price and functionality with any other script I'm aware of. As always we will emphasize a minimum number of clicks needed to accomplish the tasks you have to do daily, and we will continue to offer industry leading features for search engine optimization and dynamic content retrieval. I do not yet know what the scope of this upgrade will be, but if at all possible, we will not require you to do a fresh install to go from Arylia 2 to Arylia 3. We MAY, however, require you to have previously updated to our latest version of Arylia 2. We understand how much time and effort you put into building your database of banners, sponsors, and most importantly, galleries, and we will do everything in our power to make sure all of that data remains intact. -----kryptx & arock ICQ: 295369830 |
has the number problem finally been solved? it wouldn't allow numbers in the gallery title.
price is high for extra domains, at JMBSoft they only ask $39.95 for an extra domain for their TGP scripts but have to say, that CMS would be great |

Arylia uses identifiers in your gallery template to place elements of the gallery. One of those identifiers is __TITLE__, which places the gallery title that you enter on the create gallery form. Thinking that people would create galleries named like "Nasty Trannies 1", "Nasty Trannies 2", and not want to have the "1" and "2" show up on the gallery itself, I wrote Arylia to strip out numbers when placing the title. This is explained in the README that accompanies the distribution file. Obviously this broke people who promoted certain non-tranny sites, such as watch4beauty. In response to this issue, instead of just altering the functionality of the existing identifier, we added a new identifier, __FULLTITLE__, which displays the title with numbers and all. This has existed for some time, it's been so long that I can't even really tell you when we added it. Then again, I'm not confident that it was ever documented (except in ICQ conversations), so I understand that people would think it was still there. |
I clicked thinking Arylia was new model

I hope you didn't bet money on that, moneybetsandy.
You know, if you changed the capitalization of your name to MoneyBetSandy, people might mistake you for a girl and you'd get more attention. Just a thought. |
