What other large spyware companies are out there besides Zango?

Everybody knows about Zango. There are other spyware companies out there that I believe are flying under the radar and doing far more damage than Zango. Anybody know of any? If so list them here so we can test them and see what's going on.

How Does iSearch Target End User's?

A team of more than 20 people have manually categorized the 100,000 most popular web sites on the Internet into one of the categories listed below. When a user utilizing our desktop advertising software visits one of the targeted URL's, if you have bid on the corresponding category, your web site will be displayed to the end user. If multiple advertisers are bidding on a category that you are interested in, higher bids will result in a higher likelihood of their ad being shown, so you can continue to receive new visitors even if you are the lowest bidder.

Has anyone used htaccess to redirect zango and similar "software" and if so have you used a tracker to see how many hits that page gets? I just implemented this and would be interested in seeing how much traffic you see being redirected.

I mentioned in the CCBill thread that it would be very interesting for a big traffic aggregation area (like CCBill) to track these things and give us a sort of "weather report".

I also think that at least some program owners would be interested if one affiliate was generating much of their traffic from Zango (or other) infected surfers.

I don't care how many TGP surfers or how many tube surfers are infected... I want to know what the numbers are when they get to the point of paying :)
