RE: Webair down

Hilarious to see everytime someone posts about Webair being down. There's a bunch of other people saying it's down for them too, then there's a few bros coming out of the woodwork and saying it's always up for them, then the sigwhores say the same. Add in the trolls flaming the first group for using virtual hosting and the other bros stating that you get what you pay for and it's a circus. :1orglaugh

Oh, almost forgot to add. Don't forget the mandatory appearance by TurboAngel saying Webair has never been down for her during the umpteen years she's hosted with them, since before Al Gore invented the Internet apparently. :1orglaugh

pr0 10-09-2007 09:37 AM

ok lemme do one better...here comes some uptime stats....

uptime: 178 days, 2 hours, 37 mins (& thats because i rebooted a half year ago for a script)

& yea the virtual accounts are down all the time because of jackasses installing silly shit on them....

RawAlex 10-09-2007 09:42 AM

pr0 Server uptime isn't an indication of connectivity or accessibility. You need the whole package. Plus, your server can be up and apache can be fubar, and you wouldn't get much webserving done, now would you?

crockett 10-09-2007 09:43 AM

None of my sites at traffic stats show any downtime.

Juicy D. Links 10-09-2007 09:43 AM

Isn't that the uptime of your box? It has nothing to do with network uptime.

Pornwolf 10-09-2007 09:58 AM

Bro bro bro, my boxes are up. My virtual account is up.

I'm so hard right now. You should see my uptime.

Any one of you ladies want to feel it?

Cyber Fucker 10-09-2007 10:02 AM

Yeah that's pretty much how the script goes.

Yanks_Todd 10-09-2007 11:38 AM

Funny thing about the people who bitch about the webair supporters. They never stop to think what causes that support. Since other hosts don't have those "minions" maybe webair does things right way. Just my :2 cents:

Incompetence? Cutting corners? Overselling virtual accounts? Just a few wild guesses, don't mind me though, I'm just a guy who likes to bitch about Webair. :D

Lol, that is dead on correct. I'm still waiting for Turboangel's appearance in this thread.

Vendzilla 10-09-2007 12:36 PM

I got a dedicated box with Webair
If theres a little problem, they fix it, no BS
which is a good thing
Plus I like the interface they have
And if it sounds like i'm a sig whore, take a look, no affiliate code, just a link to Webair

WebairGerard 10-09-2007 12:38 PM

Thank you for your concern Damage but surely you must have better things to do with your time than this. You don't like us, so don't host with us and that's fine. I have nothing against you personally, but posting something like this considering you have nothing to do with our company is flat out unprofessional.

Then again maybe people on other host are making enough money with their sites and don't need to sig whore a hosting company.

Concern? I'm not concerned about you, I'm not criticizing you, I'm just making fun of you, big difference. If you read my initial post in this thread you'll see that I didn't say anything bad about Webair itself.

I think you have bigger concerns than thinking someone making fun of you is acting unprofessionally. Such as the fact that no one would be able to make fun of you if you actually offered a professional service to begin with. There are TONS of hosts out there, how come we don't see people whining about them on GFY every other day? Surely you can't be the unluckiest one out there to get all the idiots as your customers, can you? Some food for thought for you.

I'm sure they have lots of clients, I won't argue with that. But so does NatNet, for example, ever heard anyone bitch about them?

ztik 10-09-2007 01:23 PM

Ive been using them 4 months now and not even 1 drop of downtime for me.

I have never contacted support once, hell.. I don't even know how, lol. there's no need.

2012 10-09-2007 01:25 PM
