My girlfriend and I are moving in together
 

We broke up and got back together and now we're moving in with one another. She'll be putting most of her things in storage until December then we'll move into a 1400+ sq. foot apartment/condo/home yet to decide.

Felt right asking her but I'm kinda freaking out. Will be a rough 2 months staying in my tiny 600 sq. foot apartment until we find a place. There goes the bank account. Also be going with me up north in November to spend a week with my family for the first time. The only girl I've taken home. Should be interesting...


Anyone else going to kick off 2008 with a BIG change like this?

My girlfriend moved in to my house on January this year and its been great! We'd been together 7 years tho and I had owned my house for 1 year so it felt right.

That's the thing WE NEVER FIGHT. I actually broke up with her out of the blue because I was stressed out with a few things and was just keeping it all to myself. In other words "I snapped". But I've since promised not to keep everything "bottled up" as she says.

She basically lived here for 2 months when we first started dating only left to go to work and go home from time to time only to grab a few things and then back here.

Been together for 8 months now. And we were only "on a break" for 5 days and she was here everyday more or less.

Plus you know how much cash I'm gonna save only paying half my bills? woah doggies.

Ok, sound like it could work. But I can't agree with you when you say you're going to save some cash.
I thought so too, but most girls like to shop.. And they love to shop for your money. This doesn't apply to all girls of course, but I have yet to find a girl that can hold onto $100 longer than 2 hours. :1orglaugh

My first attempt was great (I'm a widow). I think everybody should love together before they even play with the idea of marriage. It is when the honeymoon period of having hot and cold running sex wears off that you find out how you really work as a couple :)

I actually moved in with a significant other for the first time about a month or so ago... it's actually working out just fine... she does my laundry =)

My boyfriend moved in last month, so far things are great. Whenever you live with someone there's always that adjustment / getting settled period. So far the roughest thing has just been trying to find places for all his stuff :)

My gf and me broke up some months ago. She realised what she had lost and we came back together. She has been the sweetest thing ever since and I love her more then I have ever loved another woman in my life. We will be traveling to her country in the beginning of december and at the end of december we will be visiting my country. Starting january we will be living together.
With girlfriends I always wanted them to go away after sex so I could do my own stuff. This one I actually really miss when she is not here....
