Nats - What kind of server i need
I will launch a little affiliate program (with 3-4 paysites) with Nats and i would like to know what kind of server i need?
Any suggestions or deals? Thanks for your answers :thumbsup My email: bizargoz /AT\ gmail.com |
I would recommend 2 servers.
One for NATS/DB/Tours/WWW/Affiliate And one more for the members area so you can grow the storage for your paysites easily. We have a number of NATS programs running on our network. If you're interested hit me up on ICQ: 4930562 www.RealityCheckNetwork.com |
why not ask nats? or read thier knowledge base or website for this information?

Two, one for the NATS database and one for your members areas.

NATS is very efficient on server load so if your program is smaller you can absolutely run everything on one server for starters. I would still recommend 4G of RAM and the use of second level domains (or seperate ones) so that you can eventually seperate this out onto two servers easily. NATS is so efficient that you could run this on a regular P4 with SATA drives if you need to although I would recommend at least a dual Xeon for being pro-active and SCSI/SAS drives would take you even farther.
