Did anybody do anything good and non-work related this weekend?
 

I tried hard not to let myself work this weekend. I did a bit but not as much as I normally would and just got out and did a lot of walking with the puppies.

Did anybody do anything exciting and non-work this weekend?

it's a Holiday, that's not working for me - why do the banks have to be closed?

My girlfriend visited me and ferryed grass :) . I smoked marihuana and watched on DVD.... Last Samuraj >>> bullshit. After that I slept and at Sunday [ in central europe is till weekend] I smoked again, but alone, girlfriend went home. I wathed Aliens - my the best film! But I flaked out :(.... I´m at work now

My Mage, Dazybell hit level 60 and now rides an Epic mount.

I really should get out more.

Thursday night I went for dinner and then drinks with my girlfriend as it was her birthday.

Friday night we went to a tattoo party at a friends house, my girlfriend got a tatto done, I didn't coz I don't like them

Saturday night we went to a few bars, then for dinner then to a night club with my girlfriend and friends.

Sunday I lounged about all day watching football (soccer) and relaxed.

This morning I went out for a 5 mile run now I'm about to go for a shower and start work.

Pretty busy weekend for me.

Not me, spent the weekend working.. I did cook out yesterday but that was only an hour lol

Went to Father's Office in Santa Monica to have beers with an old friend.

Dined on their world-famous aged kobe "burger"

I attended the world's biggest fetish event - skin2 rubber ball in london :)

it was absolutely great and exciting:)

I worked a lot.. :/ but I did manage to go to a movie (the heartbreak kid) which was really funny. I also hit the bar for a few on saturday to watch the canucks whip the flames :)

watched "Rent" for a first time, Rosario Dawson almost died and my heart skipped a beat or 20

I went shopping and have to return about 1/2 of what I bought. I've been trying to find lampshades for 2 matching lamps for 7 years now. Finally found some I LOVED (at Pottery Barn for Kids, no less) and they aren't the right style to fit the stands :(

Bought a new stove/oven/micro too and a new quilt and shams for the bed.

did a little work on sat morning, took the rest of the weekend off

Went and saw Winger Friday night (um, the tickets were cheap ;-)) and I played Rocky in a shadowcast of Rocky Horror Picture Show Saturday night....

Took my daughter to the theater to see a musical, it was the first time I have been to a theater in my life and I?m almost 50 oops did I say that :Oh crap

i went to bucharest romania and got waste... it was work related.

i just went to my bf house this weekend. i just slept and relaxed.

I made yesterday a no computer day... that was exciting

i spent a few hours of quality time with my big son (almost 3 yo) ;-)

Hit the driving range with my new set of clubs :)

I wouldn't call it exciting, but I did a heap of landscaping for my parents as a surprise while they were out of town. Long and short, they had to have their house tented, hence much of the landscaping was destroyed from the chemicals. That is where I stepped in. Like most projects, it became a lot more labor intense then I originally planned for, but wow.. so rewarding now that it's done.
They now have 104 new plants/flowers and trees :)

I work 7 days a week, but I did take a few hours to grab some photos at the beach cleanup near my house.

Nope. It was all business for me. My husband and son went to see Black Sabbath, and my daughter went to a funeral, so I took advantage of having the house to myself and I got caught up on work.

I get free drinks when I work. Then of course there's the fact that I am always at work... and/or on GFY

I got to see some good shows last month.

Those days are rare in this house but now and then they just have to happen.
