Things I learned at a Winger concert last night...
 

Yes, first of all...I went and saw Winger perform last night. The tickets were cheap and I didn't have anything better to do.

- I learned that Kip Winger has put on some weight, but can still sing (er, still sounds like he used to anyways).
- I learned Reb Beach is still a decent guitar player, but still makes silly faces during guitar solos.
- I learned that when you're at a Winger concert and you throw up "devil horns" you're a fucking douchebag (and no I didn't throw them up, but I did do a fist pump that almost became one out of habit)
- I learned hot chicks still dig Winger
- I learned that drum, solos really suck and are only of interest to other drummers...well, especially in this case....Dave Lombardo and Neil Peart being rare examples
- I learned to buy the sponsored beer at the concert venue to save almost $2 a bottle.

All in all, I actually had a pretty good time. It was a small venue (Club Madrid at Sunset Station) but I got my $15 worth and there was an AMAZING Winger fan with AMAZING breasts....who I left with and...well, a gentleman never tells ;-)

Ya, I seen them with Metallica and I am almost embarrassed to say it was my favourite part of the show. They had two drum kits on stage at one point and the whole stage was spinning in circles. Really cool show.

Actually the drummer for winger is a pretty amazing drummer before winger he was with the dixie dregs.
