Under the example part

I understand the formula I believe but for this part:

F = $1,000 x (1.00833)36

F = $1,000 x (1.34802)


How did he get that 1.34802 on that page, that I can't figure out

1.00833 * 36 doesn't = that.

1.00833^36

I figured it out I was suppose to use ^ instead of *
I was going off what I was visually seeing and not thinking
