Am I the only one that watches All in the Family reruns late night? Archie is the man.:1orglaugh

i haven't seen in years but i wonder if he would be considered more of a bigot now or less then 20 years back when it was shot?

I don't have a good answer for you, but I suspect he would viewed pretty much the same today as he was then, but the show will have lost the shock value that it had at the time and would probably not have the popularity now as it had then.

He was a meathead then and he would still be a meathead now.

Archie was a man of his time. I catch a re-run now and then, and enjoy it for the memory of it's original shock value, but his ship has sailed.

The world has moved on to much more shocking TV entertainment, like Buffy the vampire slayer.

if i were to cast the role today - i would think Joe Pesci would make a good Archie Bunker.
